helloz hey everyone...how's ur mugging getting on? firstly, wanna say dat when i was reading de last few messages, i sorta felt as if i was reading thru some lit text! haha...everything sounded so philosophical, complicated, insightful, etc etc... it felt really weird picturing in my mind how some of the full-of-jokes pple suddenly sounded so serious when talking about stuff like religion and sociology... haha! anyway, i do agree wif toni dat most singaporeans juz luv to complain abt everything around dem...gd or bad...there's always smth to complain abt... but i guess constructive criticisms will help a country improve and progress, but those rubbish comments made for de sheer sake of attracting unnecessary attention are things we can definitely do without. oh, recently...this permanent secretary, a senior civil servant, went to our sch to gif a talk...dun ask me wat it was abt coz i wasnt paying attention at all. i juz realised she was standing on de stage for abt an hr, talking non-stop though there were few pple actually caring abt wat was going on.. she showed some ppt slides, abt 3 or 4 to be exact...but de slides were hardly related to the gist of wat she was talking abt. i guess de highlight of de entire session was de q&a, when surprisingly, quite a no. of students had qns to ask de perm sec... i realised dat whenever we had q&a sessions, 80%, if not 90%, of de gals who posed qns were from rg...haha! does dis say smth abt rg gals?! oh yeah, & there's dis j1 guy who was from tchs...he also luvs asking qns after every single talk during every single assembly... at 1st i juz thot he must be one of those super enthu pple who like to make their comments heard by everyone...but i realised to my horror dat he's a pervert!! my classmates who were also from tchs told me dat when he was sec 3 or 4, he went over to 1 of de female toilets in hcjc & hid in a cubicle to peep at gals!! *argghh* sick rite! after he was discovered, he was punished & received public caning in front of de whole cohort or smth... but wat sickened me further was dat my frenz said he didnt even look remorseful or anything after de caning. he juz sniggered & rolled his eyes at de discipline master before walking away! he shud haf received harsher punishment to teach him a lesson he'd nv forget... i wonder if he actualli still has de habit of hiding in de female toilet... ...

  hello peeple!!!guess wad!!!!! im in aussieland now.. hahahah. flew down here on impulse and this time its REAL k!!! heh heh. i hv pictures.. heh heh. i went to movieworld yesterday somemore!!! haha i tell u.. this silly girl celest... called me on monda... happily asking me.. "eh are you free tomorrow?" then i was like.. eh im in australia la the call is gonna cost me ALOT then she ewas like..."wad? youre sick? take care ah..." and i was like NO IM IN AUSTRALIA and .... sigh.. haha so silly...
oh well.... hope i can go bungee juping tomorrow.. haha
i dun hv much time online here... like 2 bucks for 20 mins.. so nvm... talk again .....

  Well said... Perhaps if we complained less, things wouldn't seem as bad.

yesterday I attended this dialogue session conducted by an MP for jc students. (as usual I was just sitting there, trying to remain inconspicuous.)
it was then I realised that instead of sharing the aspirations they had for Singapore (which, by the way, was the topic of dialogue), the jc students were just whining about how PW, SPA, CIP and the education system in general sucked.

seriously, since we're already in this crap, we might as well try to do whatever we can given the current situation. SO what if our work-load is inhumanely heavy, and we're made to go through a tedious and ridiculously rigid education system, get over it... Move on.

I don't want to sound too preachy here... infact I doubt I'm the best person to say all this-- considering I'm one hell of a whining brat.

But take heart! things will only get worse :) yeap I'm the pessimist.
taking into consideration that the current situation isn't going to be any better, we might as well enjoy what's left of jc life.

ahhh.. But if you really feel like crap... Don't worry! We can always get together and watch love actually, (yeap yuhui I lurrrrve that show too) and laugh at billy mack hideous rendition of "Christmas is all around".
